Negative marking:
1 mark deducted for each wrong answer
Unattempted questions: No marks

Tier-1 Shortlisting Criteria
Tier-1 is used to shortlist candidates for Tier-2
Shortlisting ratio: 1:10 (post-wise & category-wise)
Candidates scoring equal to the cutoff marks of the last shortlisted candidate are also included
Important Rules for Tier-1 Examination
No re-evaluation or re-checking is allowed
Objections related to OMR evaluation will not be entertained
Combined Tier-1 exams may be conducted for certain posts
Separate post-wise merit lists will be prepared based on Tier-1 performance
